A Ticket To Anywhere - From College Hill
Written by - August 7, 2018
College Hill operates on four key values: creating a remarkable experience for our clients, driving change, serving our community and, perhaps nearest to our hearts, cultivating our team's personal growth.
Rome / Vatican City
Oh, sweet Italy! This is a destination I would recommend to any traveler, but if you're a creative or a history buff, Rome offers you the world. Enjoy historic tours through the Colosseum, Vatican City and the Sistine Chapel. Toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain and indulge yourself in fresh pizza / red wine. I spent 5 days in Rome pinching myself as I crossed off major bucket list items that only one of the oldest cities in the world could offer me. History was born and made here, and so was my love for gelato.
Corfu Greece
If you're a sun-worshipper like me, you will fall in love with Corfu. Pictures just don't do this place justice. From frolicking around a 15th century fortress and boating to private beaches for a swim to eating my weight in gyros, I'd consider Corfu to be one of my favorite places in the world.
Dubrovnik Croatia
If you're a Game of Thrones fan, you might recognize Dubrovnik as the King's Landing. The water looked photoshopped, the weather was absolutely perfect and I couldn't get enough of it. We danced our way through old city Dubrovnik, kayaked the Adriatic Sea and found ourselves clubbing in an old medieval fortress. Safe to say, I would not turn down a return ticket to the world's most magnificent walled cities.
Venice Italy
To put it simply, Venice stole my heart. Getting lost on 100+ slowly sinking islands was an experience of a lifetime. I'm still processing the beauty of St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. Losing our way to our hotel was only half the fun. We stumbled on plenty of architectural wonders in the form of breathtaking churches and historical statues, and, of course, the food was absolutely perfecto!
As you can see, my College Hill ticket to anywhere was put to good use! I wouldn't have changed a single thing about it.
"We offer this flight because I believe it’s important for our team to have that sense of wanderlust, to inspire creativity, be cultured, and get out of their comfort zone" said Owner and CEO, Tony Poston.

College Hill might be one of the early adapters to offer an incentive that allows its staff to travel the world, but it's far from alone in recognizing the benefits of gifting such an experience internally.
According to Forbes Magazine, new experiences make employees better contributors and happier people which is a boon to workplace culture.
If you had a ticket to anywhere in the world, where would you go? Don't be shy, comment below! I know a few College Hill employees weighing their options and would love your input!
