As exciting as it is, many students find themselves overwhelmed with navigating how to get the most out of their college experience. Here at College Hill, our marketing interns Corinne and Morgan put together a few tips on how to make your college experience the best it could possibly be. Get Involved On Campus With all the different opportunities available on campus, choosing how to get involved without spreading yourself too thin can be a challenging task. Here are a few ideas for finding your community on campus: - Get a campus job - Get involved in Greek Life - Attend various club meetings to find your fit Getting either an on-campus or off-campus job is a great way to meet new people and form connections with students whose paths you may not have crossed in your normal day-to-day! Greek organizations are another great way to be a part of a close-knit community, make lifelong friends and get involved in community service for various charitable causes. There's also a club for nearly every interest, so take the time to research different organizations and how they can help you get involved on campus doing something that inspires you. ![linkedin-sales-solutions-jJFrkJP_-RA-unsplash](https://blog.collegehill.com/hs-fs/hubfs/linkedin-sales-solutions-jJFrkJP_-RA-unsplash.jpg?width=500&name=linkedin-sales-solutions-jJFrkJP_-RA-unsplash.jpg) Use your Campus Resources Trying to manage a full college schedule is difficult, so it can be easy to forget that a slew of great resources are available to you, right on campus. Physical spaces that offer tutoring and other forms of support are great ways to keep yourself afloat. Between advisors, professors and other mentors, there’s a wide selection of people eager to help. We all know college is difficult, and you shouldn’t have to carry the pressure on your own! In addition to being friendly resources, faculty members are there to help you establish connections. Try to connect with those in your preferred career field. This is a great way to network and build professional relationships that can be beneficial to you after college. ![element5-digital-jCIMcOpFHig-unsplash](https://blog.collegehill.com/hs-fs/hubfs/element5-digital-jCIMcOpFHig-unsplash.jpg?width=500&name=element5-digital-jCIMcOpFHig-unsplash.jpg) Get an Internship Arguably one of the best ways to get involved in college (and gain in-depth experience in your major) is by landing an internship. An internship position provides valuable opportunities to apply the knowledge you’re gaining in your classes to “real-life” scenarios. You’ll also get the chance to network with the professionals within the company and meet other like-minded interns who are passionate about similar interests and goals. When applying for internship opportunities, look for companies that inspire you and get you excited to learn more! Identifying with the company’s values and what they stand for will make a world of difference in shaping your experience. What's your top tip for getting the most out of your college experience?
