You might picture someone tossing a shirt into a box, slapping on a label, and sending it on its way. We wish it were that simple! At College Hill, individually shipping orders is a carefully coordinated process with a lot more behind the scenes than meets the eye. From quality checks to perfectly folded apparel to the moment your tracking email lands in your inbox, our team makes sure your order is ready for its journey. ---   **First Stop: Quality Assurance** Before anything gets packed, we make sure it looks as good as it’s supposed to. Our team checks the finished products to ensure the print or embroidery came out correctly and that the design looks fantastic on the actual product—not just on a computer screen. We’re looking for things like placement, quality, consistency, and any imperfections that shouldn’t make it into your package. Because when you’re receiving custom merchandise, “close enough” isn’t good enough. Once everything passes inspection, it’s time to get organized. **Making Sure It Gets to the Right Place** When we’re shipping individual orders to multiple people, accuracy is everything. We carefully confirm the shipping addresses associated with each order before labels are created. Then, we print the shipping labels and packing slips that help us keep every order organized. Think of the packing slip as the order’s little roadmap. It tells our team exactly what belongs in each package and helps prevent that classic shipping nightmare of ordering a large and getting a small!   **Pick, Fold, Pack** Now comes the part that looks simple but requires plenty of attention to detail. Our team pulls each item according to the packing slip, double-checking that the correct products and quantities are going into the correct order. Apparel is folded neatly before it goes into the package, because opening a shipment should feel like receiving something that was prepared specifically for you, not like someone emptied a laundry basket into a box. Once everything is accounted for, the order is packed and matched with its shipping label. And just like that, it’s ready to leave College Hill.   **From Our Door to Yours** Once the individual orders are packed, they’re transported to USPS or UPS, where their journey officially begins. After the carrier receives the packages, customers receive an email with their tracking information. From there, you can follow your package as it makes its way toward its final destination.
