With football season is in full gear, there is no better way to bring together friends, family, and fans than with a classictailgate party. Super fan or not, football goers throw some wild gatherings with the most elaborate set ups for their tailgate party attendees. Here are our top 5 checklist items to make your tailgate stand out this weekend!

• What’s George Foreman Up To?

No tailgate is complete without a grill master. Though some tailgate tradition's incorporate hot dogs and hamburgers, it doesn't mean hot wings and sliders are out of the picture.  Check that you have a portable grill or something along those lines paired with someone that knows what their doing with a spatula. You'll have a crowd flocking to your tailgate set up with the sheer smell of whats cooking in no time. 

• Game Time Before Gametime!

Cornhole is the quintessential game day activity of choice. Who would have guessed that tossing bean bags into a wooden pallet would be is so simple, and yet so fun? Extra points if your game is painted with your team’s colors (or logo)! If you’re looking for something else to add to the mix, our personal favorites are Giant Jenga or ladder golf! 

• Capturing the Moment

No epic tailgate goes undocumented. You may get caught up in all the madness of your ongoing event, but make sure to snap some photos of your guests spirited out in face paint, team jerseys or @ch_threads custom tees. Set the mood. Get the crowd going with a playlist made for champions. Remember all you need is a speaker, aux cord, iPod or radio! Nothing gets the party started quite like singing “Sweet Caroline”, “Hey Ya!”, or “YMCA” with your best friends and family before the game starts.

• Show Some Team Spirit

Nothing screams “team spirit” like decking out your tailgating spot in honor of your alma mater. No tailgate would be complete without a flag repping your team’s logo or other unique decor. Go all-out with themed plates, napkins, blankets, and tablecloths in your beloved colors. Don't be shy, this is your time to shine, so bring out the logo engraved fire pit, canopies, painted coolers and whatever else you have. The more the better!
