Our work with non-profits and charitable missions across the nation is a source of great fulfillment. From designing and producing custom apparel for fundraising events to our team members participating in them, we are at our best when creating merchandise with a mission.
We give 10% back to the charity of your choice when you place an order that directly supports a philanthropic mission or event.
Below, we take a look at a handful of the non-profits and philanthropic causes we've been able to support through our custom merchandise.
Fry Kappa Theta
We team up with collegiate organizations and Greek chapters for their annual or bi-annual philanthropy events - from Delta Gamma's AnchorSplash, which benefits Service for Sight, to Washington State University's Fry Kappa Theta, a burgers and fries fundraiser event focused on raising awareness for men's mental health and suicide prevention put on by the men of Phi Kappa Theta.
When organizations reach out to submit an order inquiry, they just let us know that their order of merchandise will support a charity or an event supporting one. All qualifying orders get 10% donated back to that cause.
Be a Pineapple
"Stand tall, wear a crown and be sweet on the inside." We love teaming up with causes like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on events like the annual Winter Pineapple Classic, a 5K obstacle course that raises funds aimed at finding a cure.
We design posters, apparel and products for them each year, as well as host online boutiques for their top donors to select prizes. Our staff also participates - running and digging their way through the incredibly fun and often muddy course.
With the help of our generous clients, we have been able to donate over $200K to causes across the nation. If your organization or business has a dedicated cause, let us know about it.
Hope
We design and create apparel, as well as host an online boutique, to benefit Hilinski's Hope Foundation, an incredible organization aimed at overcoming the mental health stigma surrounding student athletes. This organization is particularly close to our hearts as it is in honor of the late Washington State University Cougars quarterback, Tyler Hilinski. Our company was founded at Washington State and we loved watching Tyler play. Together, we pay tribute with his number, 3.
Beer for a Cause
For the second year in a row, College Hill teamed up with the Carson College of Business' Wine and Beverage Management Program to provide a scholarship to a student pursuing an education in the burgeoning wine or brewery industry. Our hope is that we can make education a little more affordable, encouraging today's college students to pursue their passions with less of a financial burden. We hope they will reinvest in the state of Washington, where we are headquartered, by choosing careers that continue to innovate and inspire at breweries and wineries in our region.
For the last two years, we've partnered with Yakima Chief, a local hops grower that supplies the hops used in some of our favorite beers. This year, we teamed up with our clients and friends at Moses Lake, Washington-based brewery, Ten Pin Brewing, to create the Graduate Golden Ale, a lightly malted refreshing gold ale with notes of tropical fruit. Proceeds from keg sales to bars and pint sales from our kick-off/release events helped us raise thousands for this scholarship and we're still selling!
At our Seattle release event for the Graduate Golden Ale, we had a chance to meet up with Taylor, last year's scholarship recipient! After graduating from WSU, she went on to work in the winery industry in the Seattle area.
The Teal Link
College Hill’s Teal Link is a social fundraising platform. With every custom apparel or product sale, we help our clients raise money and awareness for philanthropic causes supported by their business or organization.
We create customized links for you to share with your networks so that anyone placing an order of custom merchandise through your link donates 10% of the order back to support your mission.
For instance, if you're a hospital with a Teal Link, any order successfully placed through it will create a donation back to your hospital. If you're a fraternity that supports a charity, any order placed through your Teal Link will create a donation for your fraternity's philanthropy.
