Let’s walk through a typical day in the life of a College Hill Client Services (CS) Coordinator - the ones making sure every order, update, and detail stays on track once in production!


 

Starting the Day Strong

Every day begins with a little fuel - usually a cup of coffee. With that in hand, we dive into emails, catching up on anything that may have come through overnight. This includes checking order updates and statuses from our decoration partners, reviewing internal team communications, and responding to client messages. Starting the day this way keeps us organized and ready for whatever comes next!

Keeping Orders on Track

Once our inboxes are under control, it’s time to focus on prepping for the day. This is where we set the team (and your orders) up for success. We check on all orders set to ship that day, send store updates for active stores, and move new orders into production. Each day brings its own mix of tasks, and while we aim to keep everything running smoothly, we’re also ready to adapt if surprises come up.

Staying Busy (and Loving It!)

In Client Services, we might not always know exactly what the day will bring - and that’s part of the excitement! Our days are packed with variety. Some days we’re building or closing stores, processing orders, sending updates, or handling invoices - usually it is a healthy mix of all. Other times, we’re troubleshooting or answering questions as they come in. Keeping busy is what keeps us sharp, efficient, and ready to tackle any challenge - even the unexpected ones!

Collaboration is Key

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Every day involves working closely with multiple teams to make sure projects move forward. We coordinate with our fellow Client Services teammates, partner closely with our dedicated Account Managers, and check in with our phenomenally creative Design team. While we strive to keep things seamless, we know hiccups can happen - and when they do, teamwork and communication are what help us solve them quickly and keep everything on track.

Wrapping Up the Day

By the end of the day, there’s a satisfying sense of accomplishment knowing that every order, update, and client interaction has been handled with care. Each day has its own challenges and wins, and every one of them reminds us why we love keeping our clients’ projects moving forward - even when things don’t go perfectly!


 

Being a Client Services Coordinator is fast-paced, collaborative, and rewarding. It’s all about balancing priorities, communicating clearly, and staying adaptable - because when we succeed, your orders succeed too!
